Aromatic Potato Soup

Cooking Time : 18 minutes micro cooking.


New potatoes, small
700 gm
Mint leaves
1 cup
Cheese, grated
2 tbsp(opt)
1000 ml
White pepper powder
2 tsp
to taste Salt

Preparation & Cooking

  1. Scrape small potatoes, wash and place in a casserole or deep microwave-safe bowl with a lid.
  2. Cover the potatoes with milk and season with salt and pepper. Cover the dish with a lid and cook on micro HIGH for 6 minutes.
  3. Wash mint leaves and add to the potato mixture, cover again and cook on micro LOW for 12 minutes or till the potatoes are done. Stand the dish covered for 3 minutes.


Serve hot in individual soup bowls garnished with grated cheese.


This dish can also be a part of the main course.
