Cream of Celery Mushroom Soup
Cooking Time : 15 minutes micro cooking.
Mushrooms, finely chopped
recipe White sauce
Fried phool makhanas
Celery, finely chopped
Preparation & Cooking
- Place chopped mushrooms and celery in a microwave-safe bowl; add stock and cook on micro HIGH for 5 minutes, covered.
- Add white sauce, salt and pepper to the mushroom bowl; mix with a whisk and cook on HIGH for 10 minutes, covered.
- Check seasoning.
- Put ½ tsp cream in each individual soup bowl and pour hot soup on top. Stir well.
- Garnish with sliced pieces of mushroom and celery.
Serve hot with garlic bread/crisp toast or buttered dinner rolls.
Mixed chopped vegetables can also be added along with celery and mushroom.
