Ice Cream Gateaux

Ingredients

Vanilla ice cream

Milk

500 ml
Corn flour
-
2 tbsp
Sugar
-
2 tbsp
Butter
-
1 tbsp
Vanilla essence

½ tsp
Strawberries, chopped

Mixed Dry fruits, finely chopped

¼ cup
Cake fruit (tutti-frutti)

Candied peels, finely chopped

2 tbsp
Strawberry sauce

Preparation & Cooking

  1. Chill a rectangular shallow dish for 30 minutes.
  2. Boil 400 ml milk in a microwave-safe bowl with sugar for 6 minutes on HIGH; mix corn flour with 100 ml milk and add to the boiling milk; stir properly and cook on HIGH for 4 minutes, uncovered, stirring once after 2 minutes.
  3. Add chopped cake fruits and candid peels. Mix vanilla essence and chopped strawberries. Stir and cool.
  4. Chill the custard under refrigeration.

Assembling

Take out ice cream slab from its packing; place in the chilled dish; cover it with the prepared and chilled custard and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
