Preparation & Cooking
- Peel peaches and slice them. Discard the stone.
- Cut the slices into small pieces and keep aside.
- In a microwave-safe glass dish combine sugar, water, lemon juice and vanilla and boil for 3 minutes on HIGH.
- Add chopped peaches in it and cover. Let it stand and cool. Chill properly.
Serve chilled peach sauce over ice creams.
You may let the peaches stand in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes covered, remove and place under cold water and then peel.
