Company shall at its sole discretion will repair or replace such defective product or parts thereof. Company reserves the right to decide at its discretion, for replacing any defective part with a substitute without affecting the performance of the product. All parts removed by company shall be the property of the company. In the event company carries out repairs or replacement of any part during the comprehensive warranty period, the warranty shall thereafter continue only for the remaining period of the warranty.

The product will have extended warranty on functional parts from the date of invoice subjected to following conditions:

Extended warranty is applicable only if the installation, extended warranty registration and service is availed through a Carrier Midea India Authorized Service Centre or Authorized Sales and Service Channel partner.
- Product is purchased through authorized dealer of the company.
- Purchase invoice must fall under the “5 Year Comprehensive warranty scheme” T&C- Carrier-1st June 2024 to 31st September 2024.
- Extended warranty can be availed only at the time of installation of the product through the company.
- Non-refundable Registration fee of INR 99 + GST has to be paid by the customer while opting for the extended warranty at the time of registration, however company reserves its right to refuse to confirm extended warranty at the time of installation where the unit is being installed at any place other than residential purpose.
- All sales partner must ensure that product installation is done through installation ticket raised with Carrier Midea India Authorized Service Partner or Call Centre.
- Carrier Midea India Authorized service partner, who install the product for the customer, must ensure that product registration is done in real-time. If product registration is done after the day of installation, the system will automatically tag the standard warranty to the product and the customer will not be entitled to the benefits of the promotional offer.
- Customer has to avail minimum two paid (@applicable rates at that time) Jet Pump Service (Preventive Maintenance Services / PMS) compulsorily in each year of extended warranty period (year start from date of purchase/invoice) annually from completion of first year till completion of 5th year (which will be on chargeable basis) from Carrier Midea India Authorized Service Partner. Post two paid compulsory PMS, customer will not be charged for service charges. If minimum two paid PMS in any year is not availed, then the extended warranty will be void for subsequent years. (For example, if a customer avails one PMS in a year and fails/omits to take second PMS then the extended warranty will be void).
- Extended Warranty covers repairs, rectification or replacement of the components only including the PCB of Indoor unit (IDU) and / or Outdoor unit (ODU), IDU Evaporating Coil, ODU Condenser Coil, Motor. Defective parts shall be replaced with a functionally working, repaired or new equivalent part only if it cannot be repaired. The decision of Carrier Midea India will be final in this regard.
- Apart from this Extended Warranty Terms and Conditions, the warranty terms & conditions as mentioned in the User Manual shall also be applicable and be binding.
- Customer is required to pay the visit charges as per the rates in force from the 2nd year to 5th Year.
- Cost towards Gas charging (if any) needs to be paid by the customer as per the rates in force from the 2nd year to 5thYear.
- Extended warranty scheme is applicable for individual customers and residential use only. This offer is not applicable for institutional/ corporate customers and/or for commercial use.
- Extended Warranty will not be applicable for installations in areas prone to corrosion due to toxic / gas emissions from sewage or storm water drains or salt water spray or chemical gas. This will be informed to the customer at the time of installation.
Exclusions:
- Post completion of 1-year standard warranty, under the extended warranty, component warranty will include all functional components other than plastic parts, sheet metals, remote control, gas charging, labour / visit charges, accessories accessories & transportation.
The Extended warranty will be null and void in the following conditions:
- If two compulsory paid Jet Pump Sevice (PMS) are not availed in each year of extended warranty period of four years (2nd Year to 5th Year)
- This warranty shall stand automatically terminated in the event of the said unit being installed, de- installed, re-installed, serviced, repaired, or otherwise attended to by any third person or party or organization or agency or by the said purchaser himself (by whatever name called), other than the authorized representative / Dealer of the company.
- Damage is caused by improper usage or due to faulty electricity supply/connection (as per specifications).
In additions to extended warranty conditions mentioned over here, all standard warranty terms & condition in the user/owner manual will be applicable during this extended warranty period.
