E-Waste has been defined as “waste electrical and electronic equipment, whole or in part or rejects from their manufacturing and repair process, which are intended to be discarded”. Whereas, electrical and electronic equipment has been defined as “equipment, which is dependent on electrical currents or electro-magnetic fields to be fully functional”. In the recent years, there has been increasing use and dependence on electrical and electronic gadgets like mobile phones, computers, laptops, servers, data storage devices, photo copy machines, televisions, washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, etc. resulting into generation of large quantities of E-waste.
Therefore, the E-waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016 have been notified with primary objective to channelise the E-waste generated in the country for environmentally sound recycling which is largely controlled by the un-organised sectors who are adopting crude practices that result into higher pollution and less recovery, thereby causing wastage of precious resources and damage to the environment. On receipt of your call, the representative of the authorised recycler will visit you at your home/premise for inspecting the product and calculating the value.
As per valuation by authorised recycler, you will be offered the price of electronic products. On your acceptance of offer, authorised recycler will lift the product after giving the offer price to you.
Hand over the E-waste to the authorised recycler

Consumers do not have to pay any money either to Carrier Midea India or its authorised recycler for collection and disposal of their products. On the contrary, after proper valuation, our authorised recycler will pay the value of the product to you.
Our authorised recycler has pan-India presence and products can be disposed off/collected from your doorsteps across all locations in India.
It will take approximately 7-10 days for the authorised recycler to come and collect the product from your residence/premises. However, the period may vary depending on the location. Carrier Midea India being a mere facilitator shall not be responsible for any delay in this regard.
